Free tools for barbershops and salons in ChatGPT and Claude

Five tools for barbershops, salons, nail studios, spas and other local service shops. Ask in plain words inside ChatGPT or Claude and get the result as a card you can use right away. They are free and need no account with us.

The five tools

Website checkup

Checks your website the way a customer on a phone sees it: mobile speed from Google PageSpeed, an online booking link, tap to call, a link to your Google Business Profile, reviews on the page, the wording next to any text sign-up, and the business details Google reads. You get a score out of 100 and the five fixes that matter most.

Try asking: “Check my barbershop's website, fadefactory.com”

It reads your homepage as it is right now. Content that only appears after scripts run may be missed.

Missed revenue calculator

Works out what missed calls and no-shows cost you each month and year, and what reminder texts and a missed-call text back could win back. It uses your own numbers, plus published rates that are shown with their sources (a 2025 consumer survey for missed callers, a 2016 review of 16 studies for reminders).

Try asking: “My average ticket is $40. I miss about 10 calls and get 3 no-shows a week. What is that costing me?”

No study has measured how many missed callers a text back wins back, so that part uses your own estimate.

Review sign maker

Turns your Google review link into a printable counter sign with a QR code, in your colors: one full page, two half-page signs or two 4 x 6 cards per sheet, in English, Spanish or both.

Try asking: “Make a review sign for Bella Rose Salon in rose gold. My review link is g.page/r/…/review”

Find your review link in Google Business Profile: Read reviews > Get more reviews > copy the link.

Price menu maker

Turns your services and prices into a printable one-page menu in your colors, with a QR code that opens your booking page.

Try asking: “Make a price menu: skin fade $40, kids cut $25, beard trim $20, and a QR code to my Booksy page”

Up to about 60 services fit on a full page; a half page fits fewer.

Text message checker

Checks a reminder or promotional text before you send it: your business name, STOP and HELP wording, rates and frequency, how customers agreed to texts, link shorteners, restricted content and quiet hours. You get a pass or a fix list with a suggested rewrite.

Try asking: “Is this text OK to send? "Book your next color this week and get 20% off! bit.ly/bella20" Customers said yes at the front desk.”

General guidance based on carrier, CTIA and Twilio rules and US law. It is not legal advice.

How to add them

In Claude: open the Connectors directory and search for Lifetime Automations. Before it is listed, you can add it yourself: Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, with the address https://mcp.lifetimeautomations.com/mcp and no sign-in.

In ChatGPT: find Lifetime Automations in the plugin directory and add it to a chat. Its address is https://mcp.lifetimeautomations.com/chatgpt.

Then ask in your own words, like the examples above. The tools work on a computer and on a phone.

Print files and links

The review sign and price menu come as a PDF link. Open it and print at actual size (100%) so the QR code stays easy to scan, and scan it once with your phone before you put it out. Each link works for 24 hours; after that, ask again and you’ll get a new one in seconds.

Privacy in short

What you type into a tool is used only to make your result and is not stored. The website checkup sends the web address to Google PageSpeed. A print file’s details travel inside its own link, which stops working after 24 hours. We keep only anonymous daily counts of which tools are used. The full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms.

If something doesn’t work

  • No card, only text: some apps show text results only. The answer has the same information and the file link.
  • “We couldn’t find a website at that address”: check the spelling, or give the full address with https://.
  • “Mobile speed wasn’t measured”: Google’s speed test was busy or blocked by the site; the rest of the checkup still runs. Try again later.
  • “This link has expired”: print links last 24 hours. Ask for the sign or menu again.
  • “A lot of checkups are running”: wait a minute and ask again.
  • The QR code won’t scan: print at 100% (not “fit to page”) and use a darker main color.
